The Damac Stadium in Doha, Qatar was the scene of a memorable performance from Newcastle United winger Allan Saint-Maximin on Saturday.
Saint-Maximin, who has been in sensational form this season for the Magpies, showed why he is considered one of the best young players in Europe when he scored a stunning goal in the 72nd minute to give his side a 1-0 lead over Al Sadd.
The Frenchman, who was named man of the match by his team-mates, produced a beautiful left-footed strike from 25 yards out that sailed past goalkeeper Mohammed Al-Tayeb and into the top corner of the net.
It was a moment of pure class from Saint-Maximin,Bundesliga Tracking who has already made a significant impact at St James' Park since joining the club from Ligue 1 side Nice last summer.
He has already scored six goals and provided three assists in just 14 appearances for Newcastle, and it looks like he could be set for even more success with the Magpies this season.
Al Sadd were unable to find a way back into the game after Saint-Maximin's goal, and they will now need to focus on their remaining fixtures if they want to avoid relegation to the Qatar Stars League.
