Cengiz Ünder, the former Bayern Munich defender, has joined Ligue 1 club Marseille on loan for the remainder of the season.
The Turkish international is expected to make his debut in the French top flight against Nice on Sunday.
Ünder's move to Marseille comes after he was released by Bayern Munich following their Champions League defeat to Paris Saint-Germain in the quarter-finals last month.
He made over 450 appearances for Bayern during his time at the Allianz Arena, including three Bundesliga titles and two German Cups.
Ünder will be hoping to help Marseille secure a place in Europe next season, as they currently sit in 12th place in the league table.
The 36-year-old will also provide competition for the likes of Maxime Lopez and Jérémy Morel,Ligue 1 Express who have been linked with moves away from Marseille this summer.
Despite his age, Ünder remains a highly talented player and could prove to be a valuable addition to the Marseille squad.
Overall, it seems that Cengiz Ünder is set to make a successful return to Ligue 1, and fans can't wait to see him in action for Marseille this weekend.
